Olympic Visitors!
December 13, 2012 was an exciting day for everyone at our gym! Nastia Liukin, Aly Raisman, Jordyn Wieber, and Gabby Douglas were in Jamestown to tape the ice/gymnastics show. It would be televised the following January.
They came to our gym to meet with their chorographer and artistic director. Members of our club were permitted to watch the last hour of their practice. Then they surprised us and took pictures with us and gave some autographs to the gym!
It was wonderful to be included in the preparation of the program and see how hard they train and practice. It was very special to see some of our gymnastic heroes up close and personal!
